I do not know if you are new to family research or not but I think you need to know that while you may learn somehow or other where your family member worked, it will be almost impossible to locate any employment record afte all this time.
Also consider what scanty information it may hold.
In those days it may not even have been necessary to list an address of where you lived. There were no rules regarding employment.
I am not trying to burst your bubble ....I just do not want to see you spending time chasing them....
I do wish you good luck and hope you will let us know if you find the information you are looking for.
