Is it possible to get copies of wills filed in Manhattan or the Bronx without going to the appropriate office? I live in Florida. Can I get a will either on line or by mail? I want to find the will of my grandfather, Morris Hefter who died 17 Sept 1917 at 22 W 31 St, Manhattan and his brother, Leonard Hefter, who died 27 Feb 1921 at 2210 Cedar Ave, the Bronx.
