Dear readers

Hello to you all from Liverpool, UK. I have recently discovered a number of
family members who eventually settled in New York but for the purpose of
this request I will just cover the family of William Tobin and Joanna nee
Cantwell for the moment.

William and Joanna were born in Tipperary, Ireland c1853/54 respectively. In
1904 Joanna and her son John J sailed for the US to be followed in 1907 by
her husband William and a further son Jeffrey and daughter Catherine. I think
there are other siblings but have yet to confirm these.

In 1910 I have the family living at 319 37th Street, New York City, Borough
of Manhattan, New York but the mother Joanna is missing.

I am still working on this family but all I have at the moment is that John
Joseph married Mary -?- and was a fireman for the City of New York, Jeffrey
married a Katherine Gormley.

John Joseph and Jeffrey both registered for the WW 1 draft registration and
I wonder if anyone could please help me out with a puzzle concerning John's
registration - he states that his nearest relative is a Mrs F Flynn who lives
at 209 12th Avenue, Queens, NY - Mrs F Flynn could possibly be a sibling but I
do not have any siblings with a name starting with an 'F' so this may be her
husband's name - would there be any chance of someone being kind enough to
have a look at a local street directory to confirm exactly who was living at
this home - it might just confirm another unknown sibling or other family
member for me.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated and I would be most pleased
to find anyone with any connection to this family.
