Better than that you can find this census at the NYPL
Room 119 and they are open everyday except Monday and Sunday.

You can find the original 1855 census for Manhattan (New York County) at the
NY County Clerk's Office, Division of Old Records, 31 Chambers Street, NY,
NY in Room 703. They are open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays,
other weekdays by appointment. TeL.: 212-374-4781. The census is in bound
volumes.
