Hello,
I'm not sure if there is a connection. I have been working on the Oldfield family for several years now and just seem to continue hitting a brick wall! I haven't written many times to the Municipal Archives trying to locate the death certificate of William Oldfield....he died sometime between 1886 and 1900 in NYC. I'm beginning to think he may have just disappeared.
However, he did have a daughter Hattie. And, there is a Jennie in there, too. Although I can't quite make the connection. She was a niece. Do you have any other information? I really am not sure if this is the same family or not? Thank you.
