Have you gotten any help with your ???'s The surname you are looking for is Goodbread. The 1870 census you refer to is rather a mystery to me. Who is the Catherine age 26, Charles age 4 and Carrie age 1. All I know about this is that in the Wilcox cemetery where Solomon's gravestone was found there are supposed to be some children buried, there; presumed to be Solomon's?? This Charles and Carrie don't show up anywhere else that I can find. If they had survived they would still be of an age to show up in the 1880 census that we have found with Adeline & Eliza. Another 1870 Census in Little Falls, NY shows WmM Tubbs age 33, Adaline age 35 and a child Frank age 5 together.
The 1860 Census July 19th, Town of Minden, Montgomery Co. page 87 shows Solomon and Eliza with no children. Found with the help of Ancestry.com. (both Charles and Carrie are born after this census) Seems to me that Eliza would have been too old to be their mother??? But? who knows
I found that Eliza's first husband & two other Tubbs are buried in the following:
1st PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY, BUEL
TOWN OF CANAJOHARIE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y.
Notes at end of cemetery list - "Copied by Roy E. McFee on September 2, 1938. In the fall of 1972 the Buel church was razed. Submitted by Carol H. Warner, General Chairwoman, Ft. Rensselaer Church, NSDAR, Canajoharie, NY, January 9, 1973. Recopied from Mr. McFee's records."

TUBBS, William, born March 8, 1808, died September 7, 1836
TUBBS, Chester, born May 25, 1832, died March 24, 1833.
TUBBS, Almira, born September 13, 1811, died March 5, 1833.
Outside of that the only other info on William b. 1808 is that he was born in Schodac, Rensellaer co. NY. Am not sure if this is correct. About all I have to offer. Let me know how you are doing with all this. Hope it helps.
