Thank-you very much for the reply. The James H. Surridge listed is my g-grandfather and the Joseph Esterly is his brother-in-law. My uncle will enjoy this info.he has gone around the family's old homesteads and has taken pictures of what the homes look like today, and has looked into the value of the homes in todays market! As he says none of us could afford to by back any of the family's homes!!
