Looking for information on Sophie von Reyn born about November 1864 in Germany. Emigrated to USA about 1880 and in 1946 was living at 606 W. 115 St. for the past 3 years
as the widow of Charles August Striebeck who passed away in 1905. Sophie died at St. Lukes Hospital on 04 Jan 1946 and is buried at the Lutheran Cemetery outside Manhattan.

According to the 1900 US Federal Census Sophie and Charles or Carl August Striebeck married circa 1892.In the census Sophie states she has two children but we know that the oldest daughter Constance was a child of Charles first marriage. I had a vital records search done for the years 1890-1896 for the marriage but it did not turn up.

Thank you for any help you can shed on Sophie or where I could check for records. She is not in the Castle Garden web site.
