Hello... I'm new to the list.

William Ellis COREY
Born: 4 May 1866, Braddock, Allegheny Co., PA
Parents: Alfred Adams COREY, Sr. and Adaline FRITZIUS
Marr: 1st Laura
Marr: 2nd Mabelle GILMAN
Died: 11 May 1934, New York, New York Co., NY

He became President of U.S. Steel in the early 1900s. He left his wife, Laura, about 1905/06 to marry comedy music star Mabelle GILMAN who also divorced him. The first divorce took place in Reno, NV, and was supposedly in every newspaper in the country. Lots of interesting reading about this on-line.

William and Laura had a son. Does anyone know his name or anything about him? I would be interested in any information.

William Ellis COREY is my 2nd cousin, 2 generations removed, son of Alfred Adams COREY, Sr. and Adaline FRITZIUS. Have more on the FRITZIUS line.
