I have started getting the 5th ward of this census online. I hope to
have it completely online by tomorrow, so keep checking back. There are
14 files to format and upload and I will do about four at a time.

Many thanks to the following people who helped transcribe this ward:
Marie McConky, Mary Hoar, Lynn Grice, Sharon King, Bob McConihe, Gary
Craver, John Murnane, Pam Trudeau, Marialice Mangan, and Sharon Minkel.
Without them, getting this ward online would not be possible.

This ward was much easier to read than the 4th ward and I have more
confidence in it's accuracy. However, we transcribed the names as
spelled by the enumerator and at times he spelled the surnames and/or
first names wrong. Also, there are ink blurs at the bottom of many of
the pages that made it near impossible to read the entries, so that is
the main reason for the ??.
