I've "rescued" an old photograph of Sophie NOLTE which was taken at the
Edsall Studio in New York City, New York. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the 1880's with Sophie likely in her teens or 20's at the time
it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following
information regarding the woman in the photograph and this family:

Sophie Helene Louise NOLTE b. New York City, NY to parents George Louis
NOLTE and Caroline HAFNER. Sophie married Johann Wilhelm Hermann LOHN on 27
May 1883 in Manhattan, NY. The family can be traced through census records
as follows:

1920 census of Richmond, NY:

Herman J. LOHN, age 61, to USA 1875, born Germany, parents born Germany, a

Sophia LOHN, wife, age 55, born NY, parents born Germany
Herman E. LOHN, son, age 24, born NY, an Automobile Garage Clerk
