Dear NYNIAGAR-FOLKS,

I've been a lurker on this list for quite awhile and have enjoyed all of the
wonderful stories, but I haven't had a chance to write much. Finally I'll
have an occassion to be in the Niagara area for a couple of days later this
Summer to check out some of the places where my Howder family settled and
lived from the early 1800's until about 1945. I'm hoping to see the old
Howder homestead outside of Cambria, some of the locations where Howders
lived in Lockport, and hopefully some of the cemeteries with our family
plots. I was wondering what other historical sites the folks on the list
would recommend seeing to help me get a flavor of what the Howders must have
experienced when they lived in Niagara Co.

Take care, and thanks in advance.

Tom Howder.
