I couple years ago, while volunteer coordinator of the Otsego County
NYGenWeb site I acquired an original Marriage Certificate for James F Adsit
and Lydia Benedict of Oneonta. There is also a corresponding Civil War
pension application for James who was living in Middlefield in 1894 and in
Laurens, NY when the pension was renewed and increased in 1907. I am
interested in finding an family member to pass these on to. I would like to
get these back in the proper family care. If you are a descendant of this
couple, please contact me with some indication of your family connection. I
paid $15 at the time.
