I thought that you might like this! ((gg I have to go back into the archives myself
because I am working on a publication re: John Brown's family. He was from the
Browns, well he was around Saranac Lake area. His fam was in Mass. for a while but
other kin were clearly in N.Y. for a long time. I am told that JB's mother was
either part NA or part Afr. Am. and that is what I am trying to figure out. Oh,
and the list mom, "Bright" is very knowledgeable about Native American ancestry. m
