I would be very interested in speaking with anyone who may have resided or currently resides in the ELMHURST area....particularly near Eliot Avenue and Woodhaven Blvd.
I grew up in this area and being Catholic, I attended a church whose name was either ASCENSION CHURCH or CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION. It was located where Eliot Avenue and Woodhaven Blvd intersect. I attended Public School 102 which I think is still in existence. I think it is on Van Horn Street if I remember correctly.
