Hi, Wayne – Perhaps Charlotte’s sister was named Frances but called Nancy? I haven’t come across any reference to a Nancy. Here’s what I've found.

1860 census - I couldn’t locate William + Sarah via the index.

1870 census, North Greenbush, Rensselaer Co., NY: William Bord, age 36, born NY, Machine Moulder, father + mother of foreign birth; Sarah J., age 33, born NY, Keeping House; William F., age 11, born NY, Abba J., female, age 9, born NY; Frances E., female, age 6, born NY

1880 census, North Greenbush, Rensselaer Co., NY: William Bord, age 45, born NY, father born NY, mother born NH, foreman-steel mill; Sarah J., wife, age 33, born NH, parents born ? {blank - yet all the other names on the page have this info filled in}; Jane Bird*, daughter, age 20, father born NY, mother born NH; Daniel Bird, son-in-law, age 21, born VA, parents born England, Works in Iron Works; Francis E. 1920 census - can't find them. {The only candidate I find is in the 6th ward, Rochester, Monroe Co., NY: Avery S. Gilbert, age 45, born in NY, parents born NY, paing teller - bank; Charlotte B. Gilbert, age 42, born in NY, father born Canada, mother born NY, no occupation; George Raymond Bicknell, stepson, age 18, born NY, parents born NY, draftsman - machine shop; Morgan, stepdaughter, age 14, born in NY, parents born in NY. Interestingly, two pages away I also find an Edward Gilbert in the 6th ward of Rochester, age 47, born in NY, parents born in NY, manager - store + Margaret Gilbert, age 57, born in NY, parents born in NY, clerk - store.}

- I haven’t been able to find any of this family in the 1930 census
