This article sounded so interesting as I am looking for any information
about the Civil War. I found my ggrandfather, John Bostrom, had served under
Admiral Farragut in the Navy during the Civil War. No matter how I tried I
couldn't this article. What am I doing wrong. Also I haven't been able to
find out where he is buried but know he died in 1930. He was born in Sweden
and came here in 1859. When he died in 1930 he had a writeup in the New
York Times about being the last member of the R. G. Shaw GAR.
