I have some information from the Schoharie Dutch Reformed Church (marriage intentions, babptisms) from about 1760. Will be happy to do lookups.

Hi Jim,
I'm descended from Jan Jeuriaen Becker who was in NY around 1650 or so. He
was a Dutch Becker. Don't know if I can help but I can try. Besides Jan,
I'm descended from two other Johanneses, and one John.
I also have a Hendrick....
My Beckers were in Schoharie....

>Hi listers,
> I'm looking for info on John Becker Carpenter and Mary Teter who
married on Dec 31, 1822 in Renssalaerville, NY. They moved to, I believe, to
Franklinton in Schoharie Co.. I'm assuming that John's mother or other
relative was a Becker, thus the middle name. First child I believe was Henry
b. Nov 1823. A John and Mary Carpenter show up in the 1850 and 1860 censuses
for the Town of Broome but no further info is known. ANY help will be
greatly appreciated. By the way listers, Rootsweb really does work. I found
a cousin of mine fvrom a different branch through this query forum. I now
have info on a whole new branch and a few more questions answered. Thanks
everyone.
