check USC 1930 sheet 5A it shows:
Joseph age 76
Emma C. 51
Charles O. 16
evidently he did marry a second time to Emma Gibson. His age matches he b:1854.
This group also appears in the USC 1920, but I dont have the ref here at work.
It appears that both son
William H. Wax b:1882 and his father
Joseph H. Wax b:1854 sired sons named
Charles O. Wax one born 1913 the other 1914.
This is not that unusual in the family, I have found several other instances of this happening. In the case of Joseph H. son Charles O. I believe I added him in based on USC 1920 & 1930 enumerations. I have not yet found a birth record to add to him.
I believe this is correct Joseph H. is identified as Joseph H. ;his age matches, Emma is cited as his wife and Charles O as his son. I did also get some info on this line from a descendant and data in Weatherwax Cousins by Ken Weatherwax. But the two censuses are primary evidence.
Hope that helps you. It is easier to contact me via the WEATHERWAX board on ancestry.com. I check that several times daily.
