Yes, I have proof! A leatherbound copy of the New Testament inscribed "Lorenzo Utman presented by his grandfather Christian Utman, July 1, 1850." I can scan this if you'd like.

And yes, I'd love a copy of Lorenzo's photo. My son and I are now feverishly working on our genealogy and this is one branch. My connection is:
