Gertrude VanDyke was born in Schoharie County New York in 1881 of parents whose Father's surname was Vandyke and if 1892 census and 1900 census are accurate she also had a younger brother born in 1893. However, the Van Dyke children are listed as living with on 1892 census a Betsy Woodcock, and a David Woodcock b. 1857 who could be an uncle and again in 1900 census with Maria Woodcock who is listed as her grandmother, b. 1828. Any help would be much appreciated and there is long family tale going back to English Woodcock's of Indian Blood in the family from either VanDyke or Woodcock side. Any information is appreciated by both American and British Woodcocks. Dr. Rita Gulstad
