I found an 1818 Schoharie death notice ( Town of Broome) at the Genealogy Bank. The Middleburgh library has an amazing collection of obits and I suspect you will find a wide selection at the Schoharie Stone Fort Library as well. In Middleburgh they are on index cards - in Middleburgh I think they are in a book.

I have had amazing success finding obits for this region at Fulton History .com
