Kelly -- your diary posts are a great slice of life. Why not excerpt several
into one message? They're fun to read, and who knows whose ancestors' lives
you might reveal?
My GGGgrandfather, Knapp Reynolds (1809 -- 1901), who settled in Painted Post
in the 1830's, kept a diary for every year of his adult life. Several survive
in the hands of a number of descendants. I wonder if keeping such journals
was common practice then?
