I am tracking the Otsego Co., N.Y. COOK families. Especially the RUFUS COOK
line. Some went into Steuben Co., New York and others acoss the boarder into
Tioga Co., PA. Sent me a note at . Happy to exchange

Hi!
In reference to the above from the message boards I am searching
for my g. grandmother Nema Juanita Cook b. to a W.P. Cook
ca. 1899. She married Augustus Miles Bell on 8 April, 1914 and gave
birth to my grandmother, Julia Faye Bell on 17 October, 1915 in
Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. We believe Nema was still alive in the
1970's , early 1980's but not living in OH. She may have died in Florida and
she had remarried. Could your Wm. be the same as my
W.P.? I do not know where her family is from. My grandmother was passed off
to relatives and eventually dropped at a convent somewhere in the south, until
she was rescued by an uncle. My grandmother died in 1987. All of the
information I have came from her when I was young...so I am unable to ask
relatives now to fill in the pieces. Hope you can help!

Thanks,
Shari
