While looking for my LEWIS family in Romulus, New York
1790-1820, who moved to Wayne, Steuben Co., NY
1790s-1830, I found a COVERT living near them in
Romulus. I cannot remember the name of the county at
that time or the first name of the COVERT. It may
have been Lewis Covert. There may be a connection
between Romulus and Steuben County, NY for you. Look
in the first three census records for Romulus in the
1800s and see if the COVERT there is related to you.
I'm sorry that I cannot remember any more data.

the 1855
