Last Will and Testament: I Robert Rider of the City of Ogdensburg, county
of St. Lawrence and state of New York, do make, ordain, publish and declare
this to be my last will and testatment in manner and form following, that
is to say. First, I direct the payment of my just debts, if any. Second.
I give and bequeath to my executors hereinafter named in trust, nevertheless,
for the following use and purpuse (sic) via: To invest and reinvest the
same and with the income maintain and keep in proper condition the burrell
(sic) lot and stones and appurtenances of the family situate in the Ogdensburg
Cemetery near the city of Ogdensburg and it being the same lot upon which
my father and mother and other members of our family are burried (sic).
Thirdly, all the rest, residue and remained of my property real, personal
and mixed and wheresoever situate, I give, devise and bequeath to my sister
Esther Rider. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my said sister and
my brother-in-law William S. Gray to be the executors of this, my last
Will and Testament, and I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In
Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,
the 27th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and ninety three. Robert Rider L.S. The foregoing instrument was at the
date thereof subscribed by Robert Rider the testator therein named, in
the presence of us and each of us. He at the time of making such subscription
acknowledged that he executed the same, and declared the said instrument
so subscribed by him to be his last Will and testament, whereupon we, at
his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, do hereby
subscribe as witnesses thereto. Thomas Spratt, Ogdensburg, N.Y. George
