Will
Know all men by these presents that I, Joseph Page of Stockholm in the
county of St. Lawrence and State of New York farmer being of sound disposing
mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
1stI give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Page my homestead including
all the real estate which I own on the north side of the St. Regis river
in the town of Stockholm also one equal undivided half of that part of
my farm known as the Swain lot also the personal estate of which I am possessed
at the time of my decease provided said Mary shall perform and pay as hereinafter
specified.
2ndI give and "and" (sic) bequeath to my son, Joseph Page, Jr. one equal
half of that part of my farm known as the Swain lot being on the south
side of the St.
Regis river in said town of Stockholm provided said Joseph shall perform
and pay as hereinafter specified.
3rdI give and devise to my daughter Mary and my son Joseph jointly my
farm in the town of Stockholm being the same premises conveyed to me by
deed from Horace Allen and wife Jany 1st 1860 containing 83 30/100 acres
of land for the following purposes viz: that they shall at a proper time
sell said farm and from the proceeds of such sale pay to my son Philetus
Page and Lewis Page each the sum of five hundred dollars and to be paid
as soon as received from said sale and said Lewis Page is to have the priviledge
(sic) of occupying said farm until the same is sold and shall not be accountable
for any rent.
4thThat Mary Page shall pay to Sally Peet the sum of one hundred dollars
within one year after my decease also she shall pay to Charlotte Haskell
one hundred dollars to be paid as said Mary shall think best and proper
for said
Charlotte's benefit and in case my daughter Charlotte Haskell shall become
disabled or infirm from any cause it is my wish and direction that Mary
shall give her suitable provision for her support and comfort.
5thThat Joseph Page, Jr. and Mary Page shall jointly pay to my son Francis
Page the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars as follows: one hundred
and fifty dollars each year after my decease until the full sums have been
paid without interest said Francis Page having received fifty dollars previous
to this which with this sum makes to him five hundred dollars.
6thThat Joseph Page, Jr. and Mary Page shall jointly pay to my son Philip
Page the sum of one hundred dollars within three years after my decease
(without interest).
7thThe estate both real and personal here devised to my daughter Mary
Page remaining at her decease shall be left to my children or (illegible
words) as said Mary Page shall elect.
8thI ordain and appoint my daughter Mary Page and my son Joseph Page,
Jr. as executors of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be
my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses below this
twenty ninth day of July in the year our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sixty seven.

Transcriber's notes: Joseph Page, Sr. died on 25 December 1868 in Stockholm,
St. Lawrence County, NY. His daughter, Mary Page, died June 3 1889 in Stockholm,
St. Lawrence County, NY. Joseph's son, Joseph Page, Jr. died on September
24, 1886 in Stockholm, St. Lawrence County, NY
