Seek any info on family of Timothy Ryan, born c1800/1808 in Ireland, who
lived in or around Massena, St. Lawrence County, New York. It appears this
is the Timothy Ryan whose first wife was Jennie Agan - at any rate, it
appears that a son of Timothy's first marriage was James Ryan, who served
in the Civil War and married Mary Carbino and had a large family in Massena.

Timothy's 2nd marriage was to Lovina/Viana Sharp, dau of John Sharp and
Nancy Henion. By this marriage there were apparently four children:

1. Henry Philander Ryan (c1852-) who married Fannie Dilcox, lived in South
Dakota and later in Woodland, California, and had four daughters: Christie,
Maggie, Gertrude, and Lucy;

2. Laura H. Ryan (1856-1914) who married Almund H. Morrill in South Dakota
and later lived in North Dakota, and had six children;

3. Timothy Ryan (c1857-) who married Olive Morrill in South Dakota and
had at least one son: Winslow Morrill Ryan;

4. Lucy A (or Eliza?) Ryan (c1859-) for whom I have no further information.

Any help will be appreciated.
