Ozias Lawrence (34) and wife Isabella (33) appear on the 1870 census in Lisbon with children Argalus (8), Elmira (7), Nellie (5) and Minnie (3). The census is transcribed, indexed and online courtesy of Anne Cady. See this and many other good resources at the county site under usgenweb. Could find no sign of Finnamore/Finnemore/Finemore. If you can find other descendants of Ozias and Isabella, perhaps they would know more. Some families moved west to Iowa and the Dakota territory.

Go to www.usgenweb.org, click on 'the state's project pages' then 'map of U.S.' then NY state. Next, click on 'county selection page' then use the drop down list of counties to select St. Lawrence county.
