Hi,
I think this was the unit where my great-grandfather, S.B. Partridge, served initially in the Civil War. I seem to recall it was the 92d. I am at work without my information as I write this, but when I get home I will check -- I wanted to let you know I may have some info.

The unit S.B. started with did form in Potsdam, although later he transferred to the Signal Corps. I have letters he wrote home from the field (or rather, copies of letters -- the originals are now in Colgate University's library).
