I'm seeking information on the death date of my great-great grandfather William Sharlow b. 1816 in Canada later settled in Brasher Falls. Also death date of his wife Mary Francoise (Sophia) Cuillerier b. 1817. They are both listed on the 1880 census for the town of Brasher, but not in the 1900 census, so I assume that they both died between 1880 and 1900, most likely in Brasher Falls. I've checked with NYS and there are no records for their deaths. I also looked through St. Patrick's Cemetery and the church's database on its web site, all to no avail. I've checked the rest of the cemeteries throughout the St. Lawrence Co. web site and have not come up with anything. They were Catholic, so I would guess they were buried in a Catholic cemetery. Does anyone have ideas as to where people that died in Brasher prior to 1900 were buried? Or are there burial records for churches or other death records in the Brasher area? I'm guessing they're buried in an unmarked grave. Any tips fo!
r finding their death dates would be appreciated.
