Hi all
I am searching for origins of the Jarvis family. Thought to be Stephen
Jarvis but could be John Jarvis. I have found record of Stephen in 1661 in
Huntington. I would like to substantiate that Stephen is father of Long
Island Jarvis Family and to find his passage from England. I have found
record of a Stephen Jarvis is 1634/5 who was given a license to sell
tobacco in Essex, England in the Virginia Colonial Records Project and if
the two Stephen Jarvises are the same person. I would like to find record
of his immigration to the Americas so as to find his area of origin in
England for further research. Any help and/or suggestions are appreciated.
