Thanks so much for sending the Van Inwegen list. You're right - none seem to
tie in with my Annie and Philip. However I have just begun to research these
Van Inwegens. So I really don't know any other family names.
I have Philip as Anne's father only from a mention of it in a "family
history" my great grandmother wrote in 1938. My information on Ann (Annie,
Anne) comes from her original death certificate which I "inherited" and from
an old newpaper clipping. She was born 7/11/1823 in Orange County NY, died
4/11/1900 and was buried in Patchogue, Suffolk County, LI, NY. She married
Calvin Hait in 1844.
According to my great grandmother Anna's siblings were Hulda, James, David,
Jeptha and Mary E. Her father Philip married a Clarissa Skinner.
Where are your Van Inwegens from? Do you have any other information that
could help me?
Thanks for your response.
