Hi, y'all...

Thanks to the wonderful Suffolk Cty. Gen Exch. site, I have the following
info. on Thomas Arthur and on William Arthur. There are women/wives that
must be sorted out, however.

There are three women whose burial data says "wife of Thomas Arthur". The
dates make it possible that all three were wives of the same Thomas, but
I'm not sure. Can anyone help?
1. Margaret SMITH: b. abt 15 May 1781
d. 21 Jan 1804
buried in Smithtown

2. Mary Nuton (Norton?): b. 24 Sep 1797
d. 30 Jun 1828
buried in Smithtown

3. Pamela Mills: b.?
d. 25 June 1875 - Buried in Smithtown

and of course, THOMAS ARTHUR: b. 8 Feb 1773
d. 19 May 1819 (Buried - Smithtown)

Same holds true for a William Arthur , b. abt. 1735 and d. 1 March 1815.
Buried in Smithtown also.

The two wives possible for him (headstones each say "wife of William Arthur"):
1. Mary ____: b. abt. 1747 and d. 27 Oct 1767 Buried in Smithtown

2. Mercy _____: b. abt 1736, and d. 9 Jul 1814. Buried in Smithtown also.
