Ned:
There are occasional times when the hair on the back of one's neck
stands on end as obscure info comes to light. Reading your post was
one of the those times. Thanks for putting this material together. I
have access to one of the top 10 or so libraries in the country and it
simply can't match the material you come up with on these Long Island
questions.

Is there anything about this Collection in print: transcripts,
summaries, etc in NYGBR, etc??

This is like Christmas early... exciting stuff.... hmmmm Mayflower
Cooke maybe... ?? If she is, wonder what Mayflower folks have turned
up??

So, Mary Harwood could be one of the Harrud daughters. And, he did
have a son named John.
There is another son, George, whose indenture agreement is in the
Southold Town Records. It is dated: 15 Jan 1686/7.

Yes, it would be very interesting to see who this fellow is.

I think your on the right track.
What would be the age ranges for these indenture agreements.. young as
10 years old... old as 18?? or from maybe 12-16 years old?

Absolutely, thanks, fascinating material.
