Subject: [NYSUFFOL] Joshua-3 HALLOCK, b 1690
Date: Tue, 07 Dec 1999 19:21:46 +0000

Hi:

The Hallock Genealogy shows Joshua-3 Hallock, b 1690 as a son of
William-2 and Mary (__) Hallock (and he has a fair number of
descendants).

Unfortunately, this Joshua was not named in William's will (at least
the abstract by Pelletrau). Does anyone know either why the Hallock
places him a son of William, or know where else he might belong?

A Hallock Genealogy, Rev William Hallock, 1866; Charles Hallock, 1906;
Lucius H. Hallock, 1928, Pg 437

"Was son of William, grandson of Peter. Was born about 1690, and died
1766. Married about 1730.

Joshua Hallock lived in Moriches, Long Island, where he owned a tract
of 500 acres. Moved about 1760 with his sons Joshua and Jonathan to
Sugar Loaf, Orange Co, New York."
