I am hoping someone can give me some advice about obtaining a death certificate
for someone who died in Sayville, Suffolk Co. in 1912. Who, other than
the state office for vital records, would have this? Town clerk of Sayville?
County clerk? I've been told that the wait for records from the state office
is about 6 months. Yikes! Many thanks for any suggestions -
