Regarding the recent postings about when the "Ancestors" TV series will be
shown, following is an article which appeared in the June issue of The
Huntington Historical Society's Genealogy Workshop Newsletter, of which I am
editor:

ANCESTORS Season 2
TO BE ON WLIW21

Last month's Newsletter described thirteen new episodes that have been
produced by KBYU Television. The Ancestors web site, which lists stations
carrying the program, lists only WEDW/Channel 49 in Fairfield, CT for this
area. However, I sent e-mail to channels 21 and 13.

WLIW/Channel 21 will begin showing the series on Sunday, July 2, 2000 at
5:30 pm.

Apparently WNET/Channel 13 has not scheduled the series. They replied with
a list of other programs, but no mention of "Ancestors".

WEDW/Channel 49 is currently running the series at 12:30 pm Saturdays. The
station, which is not carried by Cablevision, can be picked up on Long
Island's north shore with an antenna.
