Hello everyone...

Do any of you know about the BARNES in Southampton?
I just learned that Joshua 1) BARNS was our 7th gr gf!

Now I'm off on a new line.... the BARNES..

I went into the NEHGS Register vol 123 April 1969 pg's 81-90. It gives me
a lot of good 'stuff'.. I would like to know who his wife or wives were...
Torrey says his first wife was Patience then has a no after her name. It
seems a sure thing his 2nd wife was Amy... was she his only wife? I
don't know which of his wives would be of our line... or did he just have
Amy... do you know her surname?

His children are listed.. as

1.William md 1698-1700 Hannah UNDERHILL d/o Humphrey any one
know who Humphrey's wife maiden name was, she is called Sarah
SMITH and called a widow.

2. Joanna was born 1646.. [20-1666] md by 1666 Isaac HEDGES

3. Samuel d 21 Feb 1692/3 in Southampton, md 9 Nov 1676 Patience
WILLIAMS d/o Robert and Sarah (WASHUBURN) WILLIAMS of
Hempstead.

4. Amy md Joseph PIERSON they said son of Henry and Mary COOPER..
but I found Henry's wife was Mary FULLER..

I have figured this out..
