Hello Rachel:

I have a John Overton (c.1780 - ?) from Suffolk Co., NY who married an
Elizabeth Homan (c.1780 - ?). He is the son of David Overton Jr. (1739
- 1826) from Coram, Suffolk Co., and Mary Davis (c. 1745 - ?). David's
parents are David and Anna Hulse (1715 - 1747). Mary is the daughter of
John E. Davis and Anna Hulse. I show childern of John and Elizabeth Homan
Overton: Mordecai (1797 - 1866) m. Polly Sills, and Sarah (1801 - 1864)
m. Francis Barteau. There may also be another son James (no details). I
am not sure if this is the person you are looking for, but I hope is helps.
