Could the above Harry Reeve md Betsey Clark be the Harry Reeve, son of
Barnabas and Hannah (Smith) Reeve? I have such a Harry with no further
info from: "Wesley L. Baker, Reeve Family Study - Baker, (Privately
printed, 1970), p 398.".
I have most of the American ancestry of this Barnabas Reeve, nothing
on Hannah, if these are yours.

A Silas and Rebecca (Wells) Tuthill are included in: "Charles Wells
Hayes, Wells, William of Southold and His Descendants - 1878, (New
York, 1878), p 275. She daughter of Benjamin Wells and Patience
Dingee, with a daughter named Eliza, no further info there. That
Rebecca Wells born 1811, married about 1829. I have most of the
American ancestry of Rebecca's father, Benjamin Wells; I have nothing
on Patience Dingee.
As far as Silas Tuthill goes, I have a Silas Tuthill, listed as a son
of Jesse and Thankful (Hallock) Tuthill, b 1806, d 1869, from:
William, Charles, Lucius Hallock, Hallock Genealogy - William 1866,
Charles 1906, Lucius 1928, (Reprint by Rex Hallock, Fort Collins, CO
1975), p 599 - who would be about the right age to be this Silas
Tuthill. Is it he??
If so, the parentage of his father is somewhat in question. The father
of this Silas Tuthill, Jesse Tuthill, is said by the Tuthills of
America to be a son of a Samuel Tuthill (which one I do not know).
However, a Jesse Tuthill was baptized to John and Patience (Terry?)
Tuthill, on Jun 26, 1774 - which would certainly make him a
contemporary of Thankful Hallock. I have a good-sized chunk of this
John Tuthill's American ancestry... would like to pin down the wife's
identity.
Hope this is of assistance.... any further info you have would be
appreciated for the Southold Genealogy Dictionary project.
