Hi,
For anyone living in Long Island :

The Suffolk County Historical Society will be sponsoring a bus trip to
Manhattan on October 22. You have the choice of being dropped off at the
National Archives or the Municipal Archives. Cost for non-members is $25. The
bus will leave Riverhead at 7:30am, then stop at the park n rides at LIE
Exits 63 & 49. We will leave Manhattan at 3:45pm.
Checks must be received by the historical society by October 10.
You must decide in advance which achrive you would like to visit. There will
be a short lecture at the National Archives about their holdings. There will
also be experienced researchers at both places to offer advice.
