Thanks, Virginia. As I've indicated in my other email to you, the source for my confusion is the book "Greenport: Yesterday and Today" and an elderly cousin( with a very keen mind) who spent several summers there almost 70 years ago. Regrettably, no one kept any records. Any info you may have will be greatly appreciated. Jim Poling
