Arshamonaque [var. Harshamomgue/ Hashamomuck/ Arshamomaque/ Ashamomuck] was
the area in the Town of Southold immediately to the west of Greenport and
Pipes Cove, and immediately to the east of Hashamomuck Pond (which is just
to the east of Southold hamlet). You can see a 1906 map of the area at
http://www.lihistory.com/spectown/map30n.jpg If you look closely you can
see a Conklin property just beneath the letters "UCK" of ASHAMOMUCK BEACH.
