Hi, Fred, good to see you on line.
I can contribute this item from my database from Josephine Frost, Long
Island Cemetery Records, Vol. 8, Presbyterian Cemetery, Southold:
Louisa M. Hahn, wife of Lewis A. Brown and dau of Godfrey and
Barbara Hahn, died Sep 4, 1867, age 27
Cleveland's Supplement to the Salmon Records shows the date of death as
Aug. 4. Cleveland does not show a marriage for Lewis and Louisa. Lewis
A. Brown is not buried with Louisa.
Curtis's Directory of Long Island for 1869 has Godfrey Hahn, shoe maker,
in Southold. I suppose you already saw that.
There may be other Hahns in Frost; I only copied out the one with the
Brown connection.
I have the Frost microfilm, also the 1865 Southold Town census at the
FHC. If you want, I'll check for Hahns when they reopen next week.
Russell
