If you are going to be on Long Island, you have to go to East Quogue. There
is a very old cemetery behind the Methodist Church on Montauk Highway. I
think you may find lots of information there. I too am decended from
Nathaniel Jackson b 1785 in East Quogue (called Atlanticville then).
Nathaniel married Bettsy Davis b 1785. One source states that they had 14
children, however, I only have the names of 6 of them. Nathaniel Davis
Jackson, son of Nathaniel and Bettsy b 1826 married Sarah Adelim Hand b 1840.
They are all buried behind the Methodist Church. If I can be of any further
help, please let me know. I have quite an extensive tree in the works. Good
