Dear folks: In these days of CDs and indexes, I would like to know if
there is an index which would show the ship's passenger lists of folks who
arrived in NY in December, 1831.

Specifically I am looking for 5 HAHN brothers. I recently learned that
Godfrey HAHN and George HAHN were supposed to be brothers and that 5 HAHN
brothers arrived in NY in Dec. 1831 on a ship they built or
commissioned. Godfrey and George both show up later in Suffolk county,
NY. George is my 3rd great grandfather and the census records show he
came from Strasburg (probably Strasbourg, Alsace, France).

If anyone has information on HAHN brothers who arrived in NY in Dec. 1831,
please contact me.
