Dear Folks: I do not have access to the following documents but I am
hoping someone in the Greenport/Southold area does.

1. I was told that there was a school called Locust Grove and the 1848
student list includes one Jacob HAHN and Louisa HAHN. Louisa is probably
my 2nd great grandmother and Jacob is probably her brother.

Does anyone know where I can get a photocopy of the original list?

2. I was also told that one George HAHN, a farmer, owned a farm at the
northern end of ALbertson's lane between Southold and Greenport. I was
told that an old map showed his farm there.

Does anyone know what map that is and if it is possible to get a photocopy
of it? Or perhaps is there a deed mentioning George's name?
