My name is Priscilla Penney and I am a student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. I am creating my family tree for a class project about historical/social influences on individual families, and was wondering if anyone who has lived in Bay Shore since the 1940's has any recollection of my grandparents Muriel Loy-Penney and Robert P. Penney, or anyone else related to them. I'm also looking for some general information about Bay Shore, the type of town it was, who it was founded by, any major industry, etc...
