You can also check with Huntington Historical Soc., 209 Main St., HUntington NY 11743-6993, tel. 631/427-7045. Greenlawn does show up in some of the Lain's Brooklyn & Long Island Business Directories of the 1890s, but I don't know if there are residential directories for the 1890-1910 period.
